Overview
Another great work from maclaw and them on Maclaw Studio, finally the release second candidate AOSP ICS. this release fix memory leaks that happen on RC1, memory leaks on RC1 cause by setting
dalvik.vm.heapgrowthlimit=18m on
build.prop so if you using AOSP ICS RC1 you must edit your
build.prop and delete that settings.
This setting make we cannot run games and error on loading images with size bigger than 1M. below will show you the RC2 changlog :

- fixed memory leaks – now games and apps like Facebook or Gallery shouldn’t get force close

How to install
Before upgrade to this ROM i am using
AOSP ICS RC1 from
Maclaw Studio, in my thought can i install it or upgrade it without wipe my data or without do factory reset. the result is
NO, you cannot it will make your device bootloop, on logcat it show error looping. so we must do regularly installation
- Download full_gio-ota-eng.rc2.zip put in your sdcard root
- You must have custom recovery installed on your phone, use this cwm, it special design for Maclaw Studio Rom Release
- Reboot your device and go to recovery mode, press power button + home button
- On recovery mode
- go to Mount and Storage
- select format /system, format /data and format /cache
- back to main menu and select install zip from sdcard, select choose zip from sdcard and navigate to file full_gio-ota-eng.rc2.zip
- after finish install, back to main menu again and select wipe data / factory reset
- reboot and try to log at home screen
- after on home screen reboot your phone once again.
- Finish now you can enjoy AOSP ICS RC2 from MaclawStudio
- Remember this ROM does not include file explorer, so install it from google play store or using adb commands.
- This rom cannot use s2e, app2sd, a2sd or else but it can use link2sd. for using link2sd remember to install it first before you install it anything.
