How to Partition SD CARD

Partition sd card needed if you wanna use program that need a second active sd card to use for internal memory in your smartphone, this method mostly use by Samsung Galaxy Gio, Samsung Galaxy Fit, Samsung Galaxy Young, Samsung Galaxy Mini, and Samsung Galaxy Ace users.
The simple ways to partition your sd card is using Minitool Partition Wizard this tool compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista & Windows 7.
Requirement : USB SD Card Reader
Insert SD Card to your usb sd card reader and plug in to your computer, Windows should report a new drive and contents must be visible. Backup sd card cause partition will erase all your data.
Step 1 : Delete old partition
Note : When you using minitool partition wizard there is QUEUES operation, so nothing will happen until you click APPLY and then confirm by click YES.
As you can see in images show below, Disk 3 is SD CARD, just right click it and select delete.

Step 2 : Create FAT or FAT32
this is where you save your data, so maybe you need this drive in bigger volume than the second one. when you have SD CARD less than 2 GB select FAT but when you have 4GB or bigger select FAT32.

Step 3 : Create Ext2, Ext3 or Swap partition
this where you will use your sd card for addition internal memory, or this will you create swap partition. swap in android is like virtual memory in windows, give it propriate size like 256MB, 512MB, or 1024MB (1GB).  if you want to create swap just give it maximal 64MB don't need bigger than that it will waste your space for data or for ext3.

Step 4 : Final Step 
do final check, and just click APPLY button on top left corner. this process will format your SD CARD and partition will be created.
